Default View Cover Case

Is there a View Cover case for Nexus 5? I'd like to try one out.

Edit: Searched eBay and this is what I found.

$8

$12.88

Why would you even want this? The screen isn't OLED, so the whole entire screen would have to be on. A horrendous battery drain.

Why would you have to have it on? I could just press the power button and it'll show me the info I wanted.

the screen technology is different, the nexus 5 would not benefit in terms of battery life from this case. yes you could use it but what its doing is turning the whole screen on and simply covering half of it. screens like those of samsung phones would benefit.

The point of these cases isn't about battery saving, it's having a flip cover case and still being able to view notifications and **** without opening the case.

LG G2 has navigation buttons on the back. The opening in the cover is necessary for the buttons to be reachable when cover is opened.

I would simply check the time or notification and then turn it back off.

Yes, however the G2 turns 1/2 the screen off when using the quickcover case to try to conserve battery - they designed it with that in mind. Pretty sure the Nexus 5 does not have that feature.
Samsung A900 -> HTC Touch Pro -> HTC Touch Pro 2 -> Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic 4G Touch -> Nexus 5

The point is that the software of Nexus 5 isn't designed for such a case...
Unless someone made an app/mod to fully make use of the opening (which does not have a standard on the N5), otherwise the opening is pretty much useless.
