Seems to me like they patched the dark video problem in 4.4.2. It seems brighter.

What libs deal with that? I'm thinking of extracting the new libs dealing with the video recording.

Not sure. Maybe someone else can chime in that does.. or at least confirm my observation as not just being in my head. All I know is that before it was noticeably darker than a photo side by side of the same object. Now they look equal in my eyes in terms of brightness.

Yeah, I noticed that too, but feel that videos are always darker than pictures; at least that is how my HTC one used to be.

Any idea how I can completely uninstall this mod and get the normal 4.4.1 Camera app back so I can install the OTA update for 4.4.2. I uninstalled and then installed what should be the stock 4.4.1 app but I keep getting errors when trying to load...

Same here. I think the problem is that we are flashing stock 4.4 camera on 4.4.1 ROM so it sees it as an inconsistency and will not flash the 4.4.2 update. If we had the new stock camera file for 4.4.1 to flash I think we could update. Anyone have a non modded 4.4.1 camera flashable zip?
