Its sure feels nervous at the first time. And at the first time in a new device.
My first device to flash was Galaxy Mini. Bought it since launched.
Now I can flash without even looking at the process. But sometimes something goes wrong and I regret that I didn't take a look on the process.
By the time, flashing will be a habit and you'll be easily curious on the new ROM and might be bored on your current ROM. I'm tired of flashing. But I keep doing that. I'm curious about all the ROM out there and want to try it all...

They only way to avoid it is to get addicted to one ROM, then you only have to worry about updates..

I used to flash my HTC Legend at least once a month. Always looking for a performance or at least one with GPS working... I am just a little scared that flashing will break something, like GPS.

Now, Nexus 5, since end last year, I only flashed Franco kernel and using xposed modules. O, and Qualcomm battery guru.

Sent from my Nexus 5 using xda app-developers app

Mine was a Nexus 4, I was a late bloomer. Bought it after I found out how much I could sell my contract iPhone's for. I drove from Stl to Chicago to make $850 and then waited in line for two hours outside.
