Don't know if you want to do this, but what happens if you lock the bootloader, fastboot oem lock. Does it stay locked after a reboot? Or is it still unlocked. I'm thinking your emmc is fried. Also when you boot into the bootloader what does the variant say, it should be something like D821(E). Looking for what is in the ()

Is there a way to get lucky patcher to work? For me it results in the same issue as lots of people are having - it suddenly reboots when granting root access and goes through the "optimising apps" process.

Since it's the same issue for lots of apps, surely there must be only one fix to get this working? I'm not sure - has anyone else managed to fix any of these "broken" apps.

You can't flash it in stock recovery. But if your bootloader is unlocked you can boot into twrp, don't need to install it, in fastboot then flash it
