I made this .zip to remove some apps that are in the ROM that I always remove after a flash
it removes:

iWnnIME (Japanese IME)
GooglePinyinIME
Street View(if you want you can download again from playstore)
Chrome (same as above)
Cloud Print (same...)
Talkback
Hangouts

If anyone wants to add/remove apps from this list, just need to edit "update-script" on "META-INF/com/google/android"

to remove an app from being deleted you just need to delete his line
per example, deleting delete_recursive("/system/priv-app/Hangouts"); would make hangouts not being uninstalled
and to add an app to be deleted you just need to add delete_recursive("Folder_of_the_apk"); WITH the quotes

How much free space do we get in /system with this ROM? I'm on factory stock right now with very little space left in the system partition hence my search for a "debloated" stock ROM.

I think you can have a "debloated" phone by installing the minimal gapps. available. Then, you can manually install from Google play store whatever gapps you really need/use.

Yes, but CleanCore comes with some reduced version of GApps, correct? How much space is there left on /system after a fresh CleanCore flash?

I don't know how much free space is left, as I didn't check after installation and since then have made lots of changes, but you can easily remove whatever you want after installation.

There are numerous ways to remove apps from system and/or convert them to user. From manual doing the operation with adb, file managers with root access, apps with this functionality (e.g. Titanium backup and some gazillion similar) through dedicated apps just to do that. Or a flashable zip, as the one two posts above which is probably the preferred method.

So you can remove lots and lots of stuff-and then some more. Any Google apps that can be downloaded from store, Animated screen savers, languages that you don't use, sounds, boot animations etc.

Question why are you so concerned about system memory space? This isn't of such concern on this device. You can probably work fine with 30-60 MB free space in system- leaves more than enough for hosts file, xposed framework and so on...

You will probably get a notification but won't be able to apply the OTA because /system is modified. I'm sure someone will make a lean M though that you can flash.
