Default Battery discharge quickly after being unplugged

I am running on purity 8th jan 2014 build, and franco r32
My problem is, the moment after I fully charge my nexus, it falls to 90% quickly. Is this a defect or just done to prevent corrosion of battery?
btw, after falling to 90% or less, the discharge rate is just fine

What does your battery stats say?
Maybe try this: charge the device to 100%, delate battery stats and leave it on charger for 30mins+. @simms22 do this and his device stays on 100% for a ling time.

Have you tried a different kernel?
