[Q] battery replacable?

hi guys...i saw many nexus 5 videos where the uploader says that the battery is non replacable.. I am a bit confused! what happens when the battery becomes too weak to hold charge! can they be replaced if we take them to service centres? pls reply.

They're not user replaceable. Meaning there's no battery door. However the battery can be replaced using screw drivers etc. Will void warranty though

It's possible, though not exactly user friendly. You can see how to get to it in this iFixit teardown.

If you do something wrong your warranty might not cover it, though.
