I've read some posts about how to fix the audio and others on how to fix the screen color. I'm not sure if these are the newest/best fixes but it looks like franco kernel has some kind of color fix built into it and then fauxsound to fix the audio. Are these compatible or even the best way to fix both issues? If not what is the best screen and audio correcting solution?

I use the Franco kernel for better battery life and the color controls with rooted stock and am very happy with that combo. I would recommend ViPER4Android over any other audio mod. Find an extensive thread on ViPER4Android in the N5 themes and app section. The apk must be installed in the "/system/priv-app" directory. The thread I mentioned even has a flash zip file you can use in recovery.
