Default [Q] Downgrading from 4.4.2 to 4.4.1 ?

I have installed 4.4.2 KOT49H on my rooted device. I also installed Custom Recovery TWRP.
Now I want to install another Rom like Sanity-Rom 4.4.1 based on CM11.
Is this possible as I'm going back from 4.4.2 to 4.4.1?
Do I need to just wipe Dalvik cache and install new Rom?

You need to do a factory reset before going to a different ROM. But as for going to 4.4.1 from 4.4.2, theres no issue

Hi, how do you do it, from 4.4.2 to 4.4.1 ?
I've been looking for a way to do it without wiping my phone, is it possible ?

Afaik there's no factory image for 4.4.1 so it's going to be difficult. I'd flash back to 4.4, fastboot flash everything but userdata.img, then flash the 4.4 to 4.4.1 update zip

you are right, no image for 4.4.1
what I understand is from 4.4.2 to 4.4...I don't lose user data so all my settings and apps will be there correct ?

and from 4.4 to 4.4.1...again, it's without losing user data and settings ?

any good link for step by step for first time user actually doing anything to his phone ?

by the way I am on linux and have adb installed from ubutnu repos

You're going to want to use method #2 of this, but don't flash userdata. Also, back everything up just in case. You shouldn't lose anything but stuff happens. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=47156064
