I've been happy with my decision on getting a nexus 5 until recently, I noticed the upper edges of my screen faded especially on the volume rocker side. It's barely noticeable tho but enough to trigger my ocd. Only noticed this recently when rebooting and on Google screen.
Is this normal?
Is is worth getting a replacement. If yes, from Google? Or lg??
Or nothing to worry about?

By fading, do you mean bleeding? If so, almost all LCD panels have little bleeding. If you think you can't bear it, then go for a replacement.

If you had bought your device from Play Store, then you will most probably have to give Google CC a call and talk about RMA. If you had bought it from a retailer, you need to contact LG.
