1 - stop using rom manager completely.
2 - you should use fastboot to flash recovery. Read the rooting guide in general to learn it.

Always read the OP's of a thread and the last 2 pages before asking questions, unless there has been an update - in which case, read the last 5 pages!

nexus 5 | SlimKat | ElementalX kernel | Philz Touch Recovery

I do NOT reply to support queries over PM.

Please don't use rom manager or any other thirdparty tools to flash rom just use fastboot method the recommended way for flashing rom..
Try to flash stock rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2513701 you will be alright..

Follow this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2507905

I recommend Philz Touch Recovery or TWRP.

Philz http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2565174

TWRP http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/205

Chainfire causes issues, there are quite a few threads with troubles about CF.

Don't use GOO to install TWRP either.
