Now I'm using CM11 with Linaro Kernel r32. I found that its CPU clock speed is higher compared with the original CM kernel. Will this affect the phone's battery life? If so, do I need to underclock it or just to flash back to the original kernel?

I don't think it does. But just underclock it to 2ghz and you'll notice no difference what so ever

Can I just underclock it in Settings->Performance?
