[Q] Will I loose root after next Ota update?

As a newbie sorry if this is a stupid question but here goes. I rooted my N5 and then applied the advanced 4 way power file but everything else is still intl stock will I loose root and my power options on the next Google ota update our should I somehow be disabling those updates?

Just install the OTA and reroot afterwards.The superSU Pro app in Play has a survival mode to keep root after installing an OTA. Look here also http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2523217.

Most likely the OTA will fail due to modified reboot menu Other than that there are ways to restore root.
