This is brilliant! The thief thinks he's shut the phone off and that he's safe so will have no worries about being tracked to his own address; while in the background you have time to use any other tools to track him down - tools which would not work had he been able to shut the phone off.
Everyone should install this Xposed module, Advanced Power Menu. Just do it now.
