Small update. Flashed back to older pa release, currently have some google syncs running and I've only installed a few apps from backup. Also installed xposed with wake lock terminator. Here's the results after most of a day's use.

I use Fauxclock and only see one core on unless I'm doing something.

If location is on...it will probably be higher than 10% I'd guess. If so....completely normal.
With the latest flash, phone idle was highest and it dropped less than a percent in a few hours. With the same usage in the previous attempt I had just higher android os which was killing it.

Did you flash the 4.4.3 radio? if so try reverting back to the 4.4.2 radio and see if the problem persist.
