Default Nexus 5 Over T-Mobile Hotspot and XBOX 360 Game Download?

My kids can download games that are below 5G in size and play on XBOX Live, but can't download games that are over 5G. Any ideas why?

Basically a fat32 limitation (for downloading files from adownloder over 4gb). I'm surprised they can download files over 4gb.

You missed understood my ? Not downloading to phone, but to xbox. There is a limitation with the hotspot or xbox that keeps this from happening.

Could be a T-Mobile limitation to prevent constant network drain. Do the downloads stop, or just don't work properly?

I would assume it's a T-Mobile block simply because downloading a 5GB file over a mobile network is basically abuse! LOL.

The resource is finite and definitely not designed for that, well all in 1 shot that is.

I'm far from an expert but I remember reading about how KitKat has a feature built in that allows the carriers to know when we are using our phones as a hotspot and in turn they are able to throttle or limit use.

Unfortunately, I don't have a work around
