Default NEXUS 5: Do I need to roll back to stock kernal to download the latest android update

Hi,

I'm using a nexus 5 and have rooted and put on franko kernel.

The new android update has come out and i'd like to download it but I'm not sure whether I need to roll back the kernel to stock?

If I do, is anyone able to point me to a relevant article? Anyone know where to get the stock kernel?

Advice appreciated.

Thanks,

S.
