My Nexus 5 recently ran out of battery and turned off. Now it won't charge for some reason, regardless of whether I use the USB charger or the wireless one. Trying to boot into the bootloader while plugged in doesn't work either. The phone is 100% stock no root or anything if that matters.

Is there anything I can do to recover my stuff/wipe my phone before I RMA it?

Here's what i did and it fixed my Nexus 5 to where it would charge again. It sounds crazy but i swear it did work. I also flashed factory image before doing this but didn't seem to fix the issue.. This did. See post #35 http://forum.xda-developers.com/goog...t2511871/page4

I can't boot into the bootloader, so doesn't work.
