When having multiple alarms setup i have as many statusbar icons and notifications in the dropdown. Any idea if this is ok ?

Swipe them away. Those are the notifications that let you dismiss an alarm early. They pop up within 2 hours IIRC.

Unable to swipe away.. They appear to be persistent notifications. Cleared data from clock app and seemed to fix it.
