I just bought Nexus 5 yesterday .
the retailer shop said that my warranty will be void if i root the device .
the guy also said he can check my phone whether the phone have been rooted or not even if i unroot it .

So my question is, Is it possible to check the phone used to be rooted even if i unroot it?
or he just bluffing ?

Sorry for my bad english .

Even if you Root and unlock the boot loader, you can revert back to previous state which your warranty statement claims by following this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2513701
