Screen Power-on and authenticated wifi issues on N5
New N5 owner, coming from stock, unrooted GNex and rooted Nexus One prior
The two main issues I'm having currently are:
1) at LEAST once per day, my N5's power button does NOT turn the screen for the device on. The only thing I can do is hold down the power button to get a full-reboot. I've been trying to figure out what is causing this to happen. My screen time-out is set to 30-sec and I do NOT have a passcode/pattern set (only slide to unlock). No widgets on lock-screen.
2) for wifi connections that need to be authenticated with a username and password, my N5 is NOT remembering the info and is not auto-populating the fields. My Gnex would have the username and password both filled in whenever the authentication page loaded and all I needed to do was hit submit. On my N5, both fields are and the password is not being remembered. Not sure why this is. It remembers all of passwords for home router etc just fine, but authenticated wifi's with UN/PW are not being retained.
anyone else experiencing any of these issues?
additionally MINOR issue: whenever I update an app, the check box used to stay in the notification bar until I cleared it or opened the app. Now they are IMMEDIATELY disappearing. Is this a 4.4.2 Kit Kat thing? I'm using KitKat Launcher by KK App Team as my default (don't think this is the problem).
