Default Sms/text messages missing. Location?

Hi, all.

Just flashed a custom 4.4.3 rom and my messages are missing. I dirty flashed, so I thought everything would be in tact. Where are the messages stored?

Thanks.

They're stored in an SQlite database

/data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db in the sms table.

Thanks! i did google about it, but have no clue why none of the messaging apps are picking this location up. I didn't touch the /data partition, just the system.

edit: just opened it with sqlite and I am only seeing the new messages in there. This is very strange...
