what are the stages to update to 4.4.3?

Im on 4.2.2 stock, gravitybox, franco kernel. I want the exact same thing but on 4.4.3... Can I update without losing data?

You want to benefit from new fixes. So, the best thing is to start clean and the add the mods you have manually. They will work but I would wait for an updated kernel

Gray area of the rules. 4.4.3 is now official and the likelihood of having 100 threads on Q&A asking support for 4.4.3 will be every time bigger.
IMO the correct thing is to guide them to the General threads instead of reporting.
