If I root (towel root) install custom recovery then unroot and factory reset will I have stock recovery back?

no, factory resets only wipe your user data, they dont magically reinstall software. but you will after you.. a. flash the factory img, or b. flash the stock recovery via fastboot.

yea, its a great app. i use it for flashing boot.img files and updating my recovery
