Default [Q] UMTS 2100Mhz

Hello everybody

I'm just discover xda-developers and probably it's the best website to get anything for android phones, i have a question about the new google nexus 5, i want to use it on Italy and Spain during my work trip and i don't know if i can use it on UMTS 2100mhz (used in Europe from several cell phone providers),i tried to read several website, but i still have doubt, also called the google phone number and get no answer from them, from what i saw in goggle website doesn't tell anything about UMTS, but in other website it's appears the 2100mhz on it, but before to buy it (right now i have a nexus 4)i want to be sure it's going to work over there!!

thanks

According to the Google Play Specs.

WCDMA (umts) Band 1 = 2100 Mhz.

Another member can correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi thanks for the reply, but what i read in the nexus5 goggle website is:

2G/3G/4G LTE

North America:
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
CDMA: Band Class: 0/1/10
WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/6/8/19
LTE: Bands: 1/2/4/5/17/19/25/26/41

Rest of World:
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/6/8
LTE: Bands: 1/3/5/7/8/20

why if i call them in California (or whatever location they answer) they tell me 2100mhz it's not supported???

Actually i need when i go in Spain and Italy and there i use H3G provider and they work with 2100mhz, now 2100mhz it's GSM or UMTS???

I'm confused
