I thought it was covered in a sticky, but I can't seem to find it. I know I read it before.

basically you just use fastboot

Code:
fastboot flash bootloader /path/to/bootloader/file.img

All stickies are linked in one single "sticky roll-up" thread which is a sticky in general. It is also in my signature.

My "adb and fastboot" thread should cover all required.
