Hi,
I just got my new black 32GB Nexus 5. Looks like I do not have all those defects every body talking about. But I seems to have one new that I couldn't find anywhere so far.
Some times my vibration haptic feedback stops working and then comes back. It can be on the 3 buttons in the bottom or while typing on the keyboard.
Anyone has it also. How do I fix that?
I'm on stock ROM, only rooted.

Thanks in advance.

Found this message when I was looking for the exact same problem.

This behaviour happens to me as well - haptic feedback stops working all of a sudden.
After messing around with it for a while, it looks like it's an issue with the contacts of the vibration motor that is glued to the back panel and the main body part.

If haptic feedback stops working, I tap gently on the back panel with my finger and vibration resumes.

It also happened to me that wireless charging stopped working after I dropped the phone. I had to open the back panel and gently pull the QI pins towards the back panel to restore contact.

Seems like the design and build quality of Nexus 5 back panel is below average.
