Whenever my phone is powered off and plugged in, it does this weird blinky thing. The battery charging screen shows up, then blinks every 5ish seconds. Anyone know why?

I'm currently running DU, with furnace kernel version 1.3.5. Could it be a kernel issues? Overheating?

Here's what it looks like: http://youtu.be/HHMk6A6RMSs">http://youtu.be/HHMk6A6RMSs" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">

I never fully shut off my Nexus 5 lol, it's hardly charges any faster when it's off.

Could be a kernel issue, stock phone does not exhibit that behavior as far as I can tell.

Does the kernel modify the charging while the phone is off?

I just flashed Furnace Kernel and my phone started doing the exact same thing. I think its an issue with the kernel
