Can someone tell me which color profile had preinstalled before the 911 update which the developer removed it?

Hi guys.
Thanks to the developer and the CB crew for the great effort on this kernel.
Amazing piece of software.

A quick request: any chance that battery led capability can be implemented?
Running a ROM which supports it, but if i got it correctly kernel has to be capable too. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

Glad you're back eng.stk, I'd only just started using your kernel when all that nonsense started and I thought I was just going to have to end up going back to the stock kernel :). So far it's the only kernel I haven't had the dreaded Chrome freeze up bug with (even on stock kernel I got it?). The latest update is running very nice :D, great work sir!

Hello I am having a problem with this kernel. When my phone unexpectedly shuts down (Like maybe during low battery), the data seems to get corrupted. Like especially my SwiftKey after that unexpected reboot, it acts as if it has its data wiped. All the settings is cleared and I have to personalise it once again. Does this problem occur on all kernels?

Sounds like rom issue when android id is changed.

I also noticed this is there an easy way to tweak thermal throttling? I would like to cool things down as my power button doesn't work to well with a warm phone....

Kernel adiutor app under CPU settings change the 70°C value

BTW I don't know what you guys are doing but I don't have problems with temperature
You should try to UV it'll help with that :)

yeah, same here, phone never gets hot. It is normal for it to heat up, when you play games.

I am using stock rom actually. I don't think SwiftKey data will get wiped when the Android ID changed. I used Titanium backup to change my Android ID before and my keyboard wasn't affected. I have guessing fsync is off but I cannot find any option to switch it on.

There's no FSYNC toggle in Code_Blue, is always on.
Probably pages don't sync and you got this because it goes down before next sync.
Don't let your phone die, you get nothing good out of it: destroys your battery and you get all sort o cache and data corruptions if you're not careful.

Anyone notice if backlight dimmer is active the adaptive brightness seems a bit insensitive? Even when I am outdoor and exposed to indirect sunlight the brightness doesn't seem to adjust until the sensor exposed to direct sunlight, I usually use it in previous version and never had such issue. Turning off backlight dimmer solved the issue tho, now I am turning it off, just wondering if anyone experience the same issue.
I use kernel adiutor to turn it on and set it to 5.

[KERNEL] [Code_Blue r923] [Lollipop 5.1 / 5.0.* & CM12 (deprecated)]

Just curious mate @eng.stk, what do you mean by the red font above...

By the way...
"deprecated" - Express strong disapproval

Edit1: Am using it with CM12.1 by the way and no issue so far...(I guess CB will not work on CM12)...

Yeah read the above explanation.

Yep you can use it on CM12.1 unofficial builds floating around.

DOWNLOAD KERNEL ZIP (no mirrors please)

Warning: If you come from other kernel, you should dirty flash your ROM before flashing blu_sp★rk zip to avoid problems.
Also uninstall or clean data of any kernel control app you're using.

About bugs and troubleshoots: don't bother to post if a log isn't ready or without steps so the behavior can be replicated. Also, I only actively support stock ROM with NO mods whatsoever (apart from root).
No support will be given to custom ROM including N stuff, so don't clutter the thread with it (specially):
    • No talking about WiFi and N issues.
    • No talking about ROM related and misc N issues.
Save the SOT and battery stats/screenshots for general threads, here we deal with development, not personal tastes and results.
Also no OT about OTAs, apps, ROM bugs and other userspace stuff. There's threads for it, use them.

This kernel installer modifies your filesystem, backup your boot.img with TWRP if you want to go back to full stock (or you can fastboot boot.img or dirty flash your ROM also)

If you want to use F2FS, do the following (backup your data before attempt this, it will erase all your Data)
    • Flash TWRP with f2fs support and flash latest blu_sp★rk zip
    • Go to Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Select only Data -> Repair/Format File system -> Change partition type to F2FS
    • Go to Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Select only Cache -> Repair/Format File system -> Change partition type to F2FS
    • Reboot and profit

    Code_Blue r923

    All right crew!

Back to the heavyweight jam
I decided to reopen the thread after some thinking and some nice talks I had with several people.
I do this for fun, so behave and don't make me regret it.

This is for Lollipop 5.1 ROMs only.

The zip uses anykernel installer, this means it uses previously installed ROM kernel Ramdisk.
If already have Code_Blue or ROM default kernel installed just flash over.
If you come from other kernel dirty flash you ROM and flash Code_Blue after.

    Changelog: http://goo.gl/tyW8lf

Keep it real, keep it true, keep it #Code_Blue
