Default New Google Camera with Better Shutter Buttons

Google Camera With More Attractive Shutter Buttons
Camera and camcorder shutter buttons have been replaced by buttons within the same apk. Dunno why google didnt use these instead

How to Install

Quote:
use a root manager and navigate to data/app
delete the google camera apk
copy the new google camera apk from sdcard and paste it into data/app
set app permissions to rw-r-r
reboot

Wish this was a .apk file for non root users to install. Looks great but won't b be able b to check out it.

Wait for 4.4.3

It's because there's no 16:9 yet, just 4:3.

is that documented somewhere?
because i swore this phone doesnt have a wide angle lens

It's been mentioned a few times in various threads here on XDA, plus on AndroidPolice...

Wide-angle lens or not, a resolution change is all that would be needed to simulate 16:9
