Pam = Per Apps Mode
Included in Franco kernel app, And as a stand alone app.

As to the no opo settings, vomer's tweaks are the only one out atm... I haven't tweaked the scripts listed in this thread for the opo..

Thanks, per apps mode..mmm I am in the same situation of before. don't know what it is.

Anyway I am staying now with Madhi Rom on my OPO, franco kernel r16 with Franco paid App.

I expected more personalisation but for the moment I only reduce the voltage of -50.

I disinstall vomertweaks because the phone was too slow and it was impossible to use, full of lag, slow opening of apps and menu etc,.

with AK kernel and synapse I had more possibility of personalisation! why lots of people remain with Franco kernel on the OPO?

Dont understand it!

Per Apps Mode = custom tunables set based on what app is in the foreground
Which reading the faq linked in the appropriate Franco kernel device thread would have explained.
Don't UV, it causes far more issues than it helps with.
People stay with Franco because Stability and functionality trumps flash and pointless undocumented tunables (as stated several times on the opo forum)

Has anyone tested PAM with 5.0 & FK r68? I can clearly see that PAM gets triggered with PAM itself but none of other apps gets PAM triggered. I verified this by looking at the scaling max freq of CPU 0. My default is 1574400 and PAM for PAM itself is the CPU max. (I lowered it one step once to see if the change gets applied)

BTW, I've found that the permission of these CPU related files were not set correctly (mine was set to 440 instead of 660). I do see init.rc file setting it to 660, so I am not sure what I am missing. My tasker profile started working fine after fixing the permission, but it didn't help PAM. FYI, I have the standalone PAM, not FKU.

Thanks.

root@hammerhead:/ # cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
1574400

cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
1958400

Update: talked to Franco in g+. He will have the update to address the company issue. (Spanking google for poor backward compat)

Since lollipop doesn't work with PAM, I am trying to use FKU to do the per app modes. However, I can't seem to figure out how to do custom tunables on FKU. Can anyone give me info on how to do this?
