i checked many forum and pages , and read several chats with samsung costumer services
all of them telling there is an update and they are working on it
but there wasn't any release date till i find this pic
i just hope and wish this happens for all of as on the date mention
so let be Optimistic and pray and wish and hope this become true for us

But we have samsung galaxy grand quattro, which has the device code gt-i8552 (which is not listed). So I wouldn't get your hopes up if i were you.

okay i got it... my friend has S Advance... he didnt get any ota update of 4.1.2 .. so i decided to install cm11 on it.. while surfing i got to know that 4.1.2 has been released by samsung for s advance.. on samsung-updates.com i saw that it was released for some countries only... might be thats the case for quattro too .... only some countries will be getting 4.4.4

When i did live chat with samsung guys, they said there would be update to 4.4.2 but there is no official date yet.

We are on October 23rd and Sammobile didn't show any update until now, even for 4.1.2. It might be a signal for something big coming... Well, just my impressions about it.

i can second that, i am a Note 3 owner and since 4.4.4 got in game, 4.4.2 roms have way more delay between each regional update or changelist increase.

The issue is, very ODD devices have been updated to 4.4.4, S3 Neo, Sprint Note 3, Verizon S4, T-Mobile S5, Galaxy Mega 8, like if sammy is getting rid of the smaller ones first. I have witnessed KK performing way better then 4.2/4.3 on low/mid-spec devices, i have an Android TV Box, ever since KK made it there, it reignited the scene as the devices became way snappier and way more responsive.

But hey, no wishful thinking, Sammys's known to disappoint and they're good on that too.

My point here is that every month Sammobile report firmware updates for GT-I8552 in different parts of the world. But since the beginning of October (and I'd say the second half of September), there was no update for our device in ANY country. But it can be this also, I have only one device...

Yes. In fact, Samsung released Galaxy Core 2 with 512MB ram, a processor quite similar to ours and it ships KK.

But hey, no wishful thinking, Sammys's known to disappoint and they're good on that too.

I'm already disappointed, somehow. I think I'd buy an LG instead of a Samsung if I could travel back on time. At least their UI is not so heavy as TouchWiz.

But, well... I'm still waiting for it.
