For those who are interested, Plex is free in Amazon App Store. Many other apps are free such as root explorer and splashtop.
The promotion is called Over $100 of paid apps free.
Offer will expire tomorrow.

I still have 2000+ in Amazon coins that will expire soon and don't know what to do with them. LOL
If only more Chromecast related apps were on Amazon.

btw The Youtube app for Amazon Fire TV has a Chromecast feature. I found out about it when I wantd to watch Youtube vids on Chromecasts from my Nexus 4 and noticed the option to cast to Chromcast and Fire TV in the cast drop down menu.
