[Q] 32gb sdhc card crashes

My Evo 3d "loses" my 32gb sdhc card (Generic brand, class 10) randomly.

The sdhc card has been formated in my PC (several times, FAT32), and about 4gb of scattered files copied to the card. Everything will work fine for several hours the suddenly it says "sd card removed unexpectedly". It won't read until I put the card back in the PC, then Windows 8 reads it fine. Put the card back in the Evo 3d, it works for a while, then crashes.

This happens with two different 32gb cards. Why would reading the card in my PC temporarily solve the problem?

Is the problem the 32gb cards, or something with my Evo 3d (running ICS 4.0.3)?

Have tried to use recovery to format? Does it read in recovery after its crashed

No - haven't tried recovery. How would I use recovery if the Evo3d doesn't see the card?
