Hmm.. for recovery does kmsg work?

Here i had posted recovery log when i flashed it to get aw3som3 partition. Cache wiping works, data wiping works fine but during system wiping it get quick reboot and came back to recovery.

Sent from my HTC Explorer X using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Device: HTC Explorer
ROM: KK 4.4.2
Kernel: 3.0.xx
Recovery: TWRP 2.6.3

I think it's a recovery issue, not due to awesome. I sometimes (rarely) get it...Like, after swiping to confirm to wipe, it goes to TWRP entering screen right...usually full reboot fixes it.

I've lately been searching the cause for partition wipe failures from the updater-script, and I'm eyeing on functions like mtd_erase_blocks, and mtd_write_close. I would need to add some logging and recompile TWRP, but as I can't (read this), could someone do that for me?

The strange thing is: it works on being called from the "wipe" tab, but not from an updater-script.

note: fails, as in: formats the partition "wrongly". Possibly to try looking at logging the gui/ functions and FormatFn(args...), to see where they differ, and what's causing the error.

edit: 21:13IST(25jul): update-binary seems to be the key to the fix... Lets see where this search leads.

a minor update to the recovery.

changes made:
- uses the normal pico_defconfig: !not! slimmered (this fixes *some* of the random reboots caused in recovery)
- aw3som3: set msm_nand_data.parts later (0002-aw3som3-set-msm_nand_data.parts-later.patch)
