Back when the M8 was launched, HTC made a big deal about providing a Dual Lens SDK so that 3rd-party apps could utilize the Duo Camera. I dunno, I guess I was expecting 3rd party camera apps might use it for light metering or infrared-style effects or perhaps just better exposure control, but I've seen zilch since then. Does anyone know of any 3rd-party apps that use the Dual Lens SDK?

Let me just bump this. Was going to create a new thread then saw this one.

I'm also very interested, has anyone actually used the Dual Lens SDK?

I was wondering the same thing. The only app I know that makes little use is google camera ,after I take a los with it I can apply the duo effects with it.

I was considering going into app development after my exams, specifically, one that'll use the dual lens feature, but I'm pretty uncertain about how hard it'll be to make an app and to "use" an SDK. Guess I'll head over to the tutorials section of XDA.
