Will this problem occurs if I use a flip case such as the dot view case? As the pattern unlock screen shouldn't be on when the cover is close right?

Thanks

I have the dot view. The pattern lock doesn't come on until the cover is flipped over. When it is closed, you can double tap to check some notifications like call log and texts, but that's it.
