Posting this in the regular M8, as I'm unsure it's specific to the Sprint variant.

Any time I launch the front facing camera from the stock camera app or any third-party app, it crashes to the front screen.

The issue appeared before I rooted. I rooted just to post the logcat here.

First launch of the FFC after a factory reset, it works perfectly. Subsequent launches fail and crash the app.

Stock rooted Sprint M8 S-ON. Issue existed before root with same symptoms.

Logcat in second post (I'm on mobile and tapatalk doesn't support attaching txt). I launched the camera app and attempted to switch to the FFC.

See if you can get a warranty replacement for HTC? Sounds like a hardware issue

Sent from my HTC One_M8 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
