I have a Verizon HTC one max running cm 11. I tried to flash lunar max kernel and now my phone is stuck on the htc boot screen. I could fix it but the phone won't power down so I can enter recovery. Any help is appreciated.

I say try holding power & volume up simultaneously. You should see the capacitive buttons flash. The moment flashing stops release power & volume up, but instantly press the volume down. You should go to the bootloader screen. Navigate to recovery then reflash CM11
PS. Lunar kernel made for Sense not Aosp based rom, which CM11 is.

Thank you so much for the help. I was able to boot into cwm recovery and restore from my backup.
