am i the only one still here? i havent tried cm 14 yet. anyway, with the lastest vz build, I cant use xposed. the rom itself works, but when i flash the xposed framework, i get stuck in a bootloop. this sucks. anyone know a way to fix this? CM13 is very reliable and thats probably why i havent tried cm14 yet. thanks for the help.

Maybe it is the November security patch problem that "broke" xposed. I'm using a fix on the t6 and it works. Check the Xposed for Marshmallow discussion. Read about it, hope it helps

I was never able to find the right XPOSED framework to work on the t6 GSM...so these are it then...the ones that will work for a t6 GSM running CM13 android 6? My 2nd question though with the next nightly releases coming in the future...will they work or does it break after the next security patch release at the beginning of December?

WiFi hotspot

Is anyone else having the hotspot turn off on CM 13? I'm on the latest VZW build. It worked before the 11-11 build for me and turns off fine on the CM 14.1 build. For some reason it won't turn off and I have to do a restart on CM 13.

t6vzw is back to being official. You can get the new builds at https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=t6vzw and use the cmupdater to keep up-to-date. Does include the *86 and +1 fixes.

Check the official Xposed for Marshmallow thread here on XDA. Use the XposedInstaller apk, it will install the new version (87)

I attached the logcat for my vzw build. I'm still not able to turn hotspot it off.

Yes, I tried 14.1 and it worked fine, but still no Xposed for Nougat. And then I heard the news of CM closing, I decided to wait and see...
Well CM is branding over to LineageOS. Nothing except logo and names will change. Will be exact same stuff

Oh god! :) I'm glad I kept one of your builds from October, I'm not comfortable to build one myself. For now it will do, until we know how is it going to be with LineageOS.

Thanks for all your work, Flyhalf.
Cheers.

Do you still keep the build? Can you upload it to a file host and share with newcomers of the thread, please? CM servers are down, and cm13 for t6 is nowhere to be found.
*UPDATE: nevermind, I found some of these on androidfilehost. There's no GSM build though.. Here's a link for future readers: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=search&s=-t6&type=files&sort_by=filename&sort_dir=ASC&page=5

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>

    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
     *
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

    Instructions

    First time flashing CyanogenMod 13.0 your device?
    Coming from a SENSE ROM?

    2. Install a compatible Recovery
    3. Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
    4. Wipe data & cache partitions of your device (required when coming from stock!).

    Big shout out to @wyvernwaddell for sending me her max to continue development on this phone. I should be able to pull the logs myself now for the rotation issue since i am getting them also.

    Please be aware this is a beta release and there will be several bugs. Lots of things will be broken

    • Do not create “ME TOO” POSTS. There is nothing less helpful to getting an issue solved than users who put “Me too!” in a thread. This does nothing but clutter the thread up and makes it difficult to get to the real info that can help get things fixed.

    • Do not cross-post. This actually makes it harder to help you when you post the exact same topic in separate threads, as it makes linear replies difficult. Post once, and wait for an answer.

    • Do not use words and phrases like “Help PLLLZZZZZ” “Bump” or anything of the like. They do nothing but annoy and clutter. Helping you is what we are trying to do, and bumping does no good.

    Do you and what you like, at least I do not need anyone to speak for me, what can not do is put what has put when you give an idea, so I put what I put , ok ? if not I read what I put , i my education is excellent I treat others as I'd like to try me, a little more humility, if we do not fall down idols
    I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to say.. Anyway, here's the thing. The last of the active developers for this device is leaving. He was simply inquiring if anyone else has either fixed or will attempt to fix the remaining issues for the device as he intends to move on. It was not intended to belittle anyone as you've apparently received it.

    Now, since this is a development thread, I will ask you to keep the thread on topic and if you have the knowledge being requested by the developer for his question earlier, then by all means please speak up in regards or let someone else handle.

    Regards,

    I've decided to open back up this thread. Please read the 2nd post before posting. Camera and BT are still an issue. RIL (SMS/MMS/Data) is becoming more stable. I've uploaded a Verizon build already. International build will be up in a few hours. Sprint build will be up later afternoon/evening.

    Flash with the latest TWRP v3.0.0-0 version. Currently we don't need any logs or post saying what is broken. Any fixes will be appreciated :D

    Enjoy!
