Question [Q][SOLVED] Battery always showing 100%

Hi,
yesterday I bought a HTC One S, and I've got a little problem with the battery indicator. On every ROM I try the battery always shows 100%, and it drops to 96% just before it dies from a drained battery. So far I've tried CM11, PA, Viper and Liberty-ROM and every one of them had the same problem. The only place I can see a correct battery level is in TWRP.
I bought this as an used phone and it was already rooted, with S-OFF and SuperCID ( ). The ROM was an old build of Viper based on Jellybean 4.1.2 and Sense 4+, where the battery indicator was also showing correct percentage. The only thing I did was to update hboot to 2.15, update recovery and install new ROMs.
Did something similar happen to anyone else? Do you possibly have some solution?
Thanks

Well, the trick to solve this was to charge the phone to 100% while it was turned off. I still don't know what caused this, though.
