It never worked until I used the ubuntu live usb. I tried on 3 different computers as well. Very frustrating!

That sucks. That means I could be sitting here for hours waiting on the RUU to finish and it could be all for nothing. But im hoping that other thread post had a point in not rooting/BusyBox.
