Hi,
I am trying to remove the red text in HBoot/Bootloader since using Rumrunner to S-Off my phone.
I have downloaded the relevant PL80IMG_hboot 221 red text removed_k2ul.zip.
On loading the above file, via bootloader, I receive a message stating that my CID is incorrect.

My SV info is below:

(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 2.21.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 1.18.40a.00.05
(bootloader) version-cpld: None
(bootloader) version-microp: None
(bootloader) version-main:
(bootloader) version-misc: PVT SHIP S-OFF
(bootloader) serialno:
(bootloader) imei:
bootloader meid:
bootloader product: k2_ul
bootloader platform: HBOOT-8930
bootloader modelid: PL8010000
bootloader cidnum: ORANG001
bootloader battery-status: good
bootloader battery-voltage: 4258mV
bootloader partition-layout: Generic
bootloader security: off
bootloader build-mode: SHIP
bootloader boot-mode: FASTBOOT
bootloader commitno-bootloader: dirty-2bb255c2
bootloader hbootpreupdate: 11
bootloader gencheckpt: 0

As I'm S-Off, can I just use fastboot write cid HTC__11111111 and then try to reapply 'PL80IMG_hboot 221 red text removed_k2ul.zip' or can I include my CID in the android text file inside the PL80IMG zip file, or do I need to do something else?

Many thanks in anticipation

Nigel

Make SuperCID, its easier than anything else.
But notice: SuperCID is "only" 11111111 without HTC__
HTC__11111111 will not work!

Many thanks once again, for your assistance and kind council.
Apologies for the typo - I did mean to type 'fastboot write cid 11111111.

Regarding the necessity to update the recovery to the latest TWRP - am I correct in assuming that the latest version has resolved the problem of the recharging icon and having to 'pull the battery'?

Once again, many thanks

At this point i don't know, as i don't use TWRP on the HTC One SV anymore (all stock).
And: no need to apologies!
