it was really weird because i don't know what was it doing! it was like marking or selecting the first item available on screen. :S
I am also experiencing this issue. The home key would not respond to double-tapping to bring up Recents.

What I have narrowed down so far is that a soft reboot will cause the home key to not respond to double-tapping.

So what do you suggest I should do to verify what uses battery?

Also could you please share a screen shot of your battery usage in time. Maybe something else in my phone makes him always active

bgcngm,

Could you please clarify 1 issue. Venom tweaks allow to set double tap wake up and give 2 options: the double tap area is (1) bottom half of the screen or (2) the entire screen. Actually half of the screen is a good solution since it leads to less erroneous wake ups especially when talking over the phone. I use stock ROM with Venom tweaks cooked by 4pda.ru dev.

Anyway - your kernel works perfectly with his ROM and all the tweaks work BUT when I enable "double tap half window wake up" it is not a half but 1/3 or 1/4 of the screen. So a bit small space to hit. The ROM developer says that this is kernel related so coordinates of active screen could be changed only via kernel.

May I please ask to check this - would be great to have half screen option actually activating 1/2 of the screen, not 1/4. Cheers!
