get terminal emulator from the play store and do it from there

You have an outdated version of ADB
Get a newer ADB binary and make sure you unlock your phone when you run the command. There is a dialogue that you have to hit Trust on.

It's been years since I've installed that stuff how do I get a newer version of adb will a update to the android sdk update it ??
