Hey, my plan is to get back to stock to update towards lollipop.

What I´ve downloaded:

-M7 CWM Nandroid Backup / CID HTC__102 / 1.29.401.12
-Stock recovery 5.11.401.10.img

This should be the files I have to use.

My question is... if i relock the bootloader after flashing the stock recovery... will it wipe my internal virtual SD card?

Locking your bootloader will not wipe your sd card, but unlocking it again will. Although it is not necessary to relock to flash the stock recovery. Also that recovery is a much higher version than the nandroid. What is your current version main?

I forgot
Hello. I recently had gotten a newer m7, thinking it was an international version, but lucked up and got the dev edition. Is the first RUU in the op for this variant. The mid matches, "BS__us001" but I wanted to make sure. I noticed other dev ruu in the op had it marked in the links. Just wanted to get the correct one before I continue with root. Thanks

there is no RUU for 6.09.401.11.

  1. flash twrp recovery
  2. restore this nandroid backup: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95832962473396067
  3. flash the stock 6.09.401.11 recovery: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95864024717070761
  4. update your phone

Hi, I flashed TWRP and then restored the backup. Then I flashed the stock 6.09.401.11 recovery. When i tried to update it went back to TWRP. Do i need to lock the bootloader first?
Thanks
EDIT: Retried and it worked. Thanks sooo much for your help!!

If you want to totally return to stock 7.19.401.2 you can use this .zip ROM which has been extracted from RUU:

https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934537470

You must flash it via fastboot (oem rebootRUU). This will erase your mem

i relocked bootloader, stock recovery but i got : error: cannot load "rom_7.19.401.2_decrypted.zip"
i used commands :
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip rom_7.19.401.2_decrypted.zip

i have tried before locking but with the same result.

i can flash RUU M7 UL JB 50 HTC Europe 1.28.401.7 Radio 4A.13.3231.27 10.31.1131.05 Release 310878 Signed, its the only ruu that i managed to use when i want to go bask to stock but i would like to use another one if possible to avoid all the updates from JB TO Lollipop. i have triedRUU_M7_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_HTC_Europe_4.19.401.9_R_Radio_4A.23.3263.28_10.38r.1157.04L_release_353069_signed_2-1 and its not working.

Telus OTA Update

I'm kind of new to this (haven't messed around with ROMs since my Galaxy S2). I'm currently running an HTC One M7 on Telus running 4.1.2. My phone is rooted. I'm actually unsure if I'm S-Off since the last time I did any modding was like 2 years ago the day I got the phone (didn't want to lose the infrared)

Is the only current way to get to Lollipop to revert back to stock, then take the OTA update, then redo rooting etc? Or would it be better to wait until a Telus OTA ROM download comes up and then just flash that? Not interested in getting anything that's been hacked together if avoidable.

Thanks so much!
