Yes. And if you look through the thread it has been the case for most M7 phones on hboot 1.57 anyway because the firewater exploits have all been patched in software and more recent hardware.

Question Stuck at the last step! HBoot 1.57
I've done all the steps in the post, but it stuck at the last step (see attachment), did any one face this? any clue about it?

Firewater needs an internet connection to check something, probably on the site.
Since everything has been suspended the files firewater looks for are no longer present resulting in a non working firewater patch.

I suggest using Sunshine Yes it costs $25,00 but the devs have put a lot of work in the exploit and people tend to take things for granted.

This process isn't working for me. My Hboot is 1.57 and eMMC is 4501.
Any advice?

See posts above. Sunshine is your only option now on hboot 1.57.

Syntax error
I was carefully doing your step by step method but on last command, terminal returned "syntax error '< unexpected"
Please help me

unfortunately it looks like sunshine is your only solution.

glad I got s-off when I did. cm11 trick worked like a charm.
