Default [Q] [HELP] com.com.android.systemui has stopped

I've an issue where the message:

"Unfortunately the process com.android.systemui has stopped"

appears on boot. I've tried hard reset via fasboot, but this message still appears. I cannot progress past the set up screen as it's simply black afterwards.

I've rooted the phone and updated to clockworkmod recovery and have attempted to sideload a new rom, but have encountered issues whereby the phone is not recognised and files cannot be pushed.

Would anyone advise me on how to fix this issue?

Use TWRP 2.6.3.3
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7

fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader

put the rom.zip in the fastboot folder

TWRP / Advanced / ADB Sideload - swipe to sideload
From PC adb / fastboot folder
you use
adb sideload name-of-rom.zip
HTC One 32 GB AT&T

Working like a charm. Pushing the rom right now. Will update when it's successful. Thanks!
