if you think that emmc has nothing to do with firewater capability to s-off i will be glad to hear what is it then...
thanks.
How about 9001 + hboot 1.55? Can't find anything about this combination on xda, I heard that it's possible to s-off with 9001 on hboot 1.54, and that it is impossible with 1.57. Is there a point in trying on 1.55?

EDIT: nvm, you are already on 1.57, so only firewater "could" work, if it doesn't, go for sunshine

No idea, this is how I got my phone. Was already on 1.55 with eMMC 9001*.

Anyway, I tried myself and Firewater failed, told me nothing can be done. Then I decided to try Rumrunner anyway, this hack was struggling for a long while and after a couple of reboots IT WORKED! I'm s-off now.

So in case anybody is wondering, s-off on 9001 with hboot 1.55 is possible with rumrunner!

My eMMC doesn't start with 9001. When my phone went to repair the purple camera on low-light issue, I just unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP and ElementalX kernel (keeping the stock rom). I don't know why it didn't work this time...I can't remember if, in the first time, I had also hboot 1.57, though.

Being s-off, is there any difference between having hboot 1.57 and having, for example, hboot 1.44?
