I'm loving the HTC One M8 so far. The phone is fast and feels great. The only complaint I have, though, is with the camera. The supposed "ultrapixel" camera simply doesn't take good photos out of the box. Low light photos have lots of noise. Colors seem to be a bit off. My Nexus 5 even took better photos than this.

I've tried messing around with the settings, but there are so many possible combinations and none of the modes seem to work particularly well for what they claim to do.

Anyone have general tips or settings configurations that could help me take better pictures with my phone?

Best tip from here is to go to M8 forum and ask there. This is M7 forum
